1) biotechnology can improve the nutrional content of foods also through gene manipulation, scientists have been able to alter many of the staple food crops that developing nations depend on, such as cassava, rice, maize and potatoes, to make them more resistant to disease, more nutritional and more productive. With so many people starving it is also going to solve that problem.
2)Experimental trials have shown that genetically engineered seeds do not increase the yield of crops. The foods also have a risk of having allergens or toxins in them and also alter the metabolism. It also reduces the effectiveness of pesticides it also hurts the economy money wise for the gap in bewteen the wealthy and poor.
3) I think the benefits are worth the risk because some testing was done on animals and different people will react in different ways to these concerns. The food may also taste better to some people better then the normal food.
